3 Chabad rabbis from Tucson were in the crowd that heard British Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks recalling how the Lubavitcher Rebbe changed his life.
Speaking at the gala banquet of the 28th annual International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries, Sacks told how the Rebbe's guidance affected him at 3 critical junctures in his life.
He suggested that we can all live the Rebbe's vision by a) increasing in love for all Jews, b) empowering individuals to discover their true potential, and c) sharing our Jewish commitment and observance with others.
Rabbi Yossie Shemtov and Rabbi Yehuda Ceitlin of Chabad of Tucson and Rabbi Yossi Winner of Chabad at the U of A represented Southern Arizona in the event that gathered thousands of rabbinical scholars, Jewish community leaders, educators and counselors from around the world.
